How It Works for Instructors

The Assistant is enabled automatically for all courses — so you don’t need to set up anything new.

To check or adjust the setting:

1. Go to your Decision Round Dashboard.
2. Look for the checkbox labeled “Activate the Markstrat Assistant for this course.”
3. Check or uncheck it depending on your preference.
   
   

How Students Use It

Once activated, participants will see a chat bubble icon in the top bar of their Markstrat interface.

Step 1 — Open the Assistant

Click the 💬 chat bubble to open the Assistant window.

Step 2 — Ask a Question

Students can ask anything related to the simulation, such as:

“How is our budget calculated?”
“What’s the difference between semantic and MDS charts?”
“How can we increase awareness for our Sonite brand?”
